Apply for a Student/ECR Travel Award

The AS4SAN Committee are happy to announce that we will be providing travel awards for students and early career researchers (ECRs) to attend the 2026 conference in Brisbane. Awards are $300 and can be used to defray registration and travel costs associated with conference attendance.

Abstract submissions open 10 April 2026 and close 15 May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The applicant must be a student or ECR (less than 5 years post PhD, excluding career interruptions).

  2. The applicant must have submitted an abstract to the AS4SAN 2026 conference as the first author.

  3. The applicant must not have received an AS4SAN travel award more than once in the past (i.e., individuals can receive a maximum of 2 travel awards in their time as a student or ECR).

Awards will be granted based on the quality of the submitted abstract and demonstrated need for funding assistance. Underrepresented groups and people with caring responsibilities may be given preference.
